Cycling Update_3
Lance's cycling team (or is it Contador's?) ,Astana, has had a whole lot of financial worries this year putting their tour status in doubt. Alas, they will be racing. Should be quite interesting.
This will be the most interesting aspect of the tour. Hearkens back to when Greg LeMond was racing with Bernard Hinault. LeMond helped Hinault win his 5th tour (LeMond probably could have won himself) and Hinault SWORE that he would help LeMond win the next year. Next year came along and Hinault took 5 minutes out of him on the first mountain stage! Now THAT'S a teammate, baby! Fortunately, LeMond eventually kicked Hinault's butt for his first tour win.
You KNOW Armstrong would like to win again, but unless Contador gets sick or injured, or has some really bad luck, I don't see it happening.
I must say to lose 5 minutes on one mountain stage and still come back and win is very impressive. Hmmm almost like how Floyd Landis did it. You still going with the story that Greg did it all on his own legs huh?
Yeah, I'm sticking with my story. Greg had young legs and Hinault had old ones and Greg kept chipping away. I don't think he sealed it until one of the last mountain stages.
I'm a junior at CMU. Majoring in History and Earth Science. Hopefully will teach and coach in high school. If not I will join the unemployed of America. Engaged to my lovely fiance Ashley whom I love with all my heart.

You can read about it here

Quite a dramatic race. A notice how similar Hinault is (in character) to Armstrong.
